Campus Beautification
In the fall of each school year Rose-Hulman has several 'Campus Beatification' events where student groups go and clean campus or participate in a project to clean up and make campus look better. FIJI works to aid in the beatification of our campus and have fun while doing it!
Bikes for Tykes
Following our Brotherhood retreat, Rose-Hulman holds an event - organized by the Exchange Club of Terre Haute - called Bikes For Tykes. In a chaotic few hours early in the morning, the men of Rho Phi and other groups on campus, assemble, inspect, and sort hundreds of bikes for the local children of Terre Haute just in time for Christmas.
Pie-A-Phi
Starting in 2021, Pie-A-Phi has been a great way to raise money for one of our chapter’s closest charities, Happiness Bag. For donating $5, anyone could have the opportunity to pie a brother. In 2023, we held this event on campus and were able to raise $10,000, something we are very proud of.
Happiness Bag Christmas Dinner
Every year, the brothers of Phi Gamma Delta host a dinner at Happiness Bag. This is a dinner for adults with disabilities in our community. After the dinner, everyone sings Christmas carols and we have a brother dress up as Santa and distribute gifts that the chapter has prepared and wrapped for the guests.
Pickleball Bash
A new event this year, Pickleball Bash will be hosted at the Terre Haute City Park this spring. Logistics are still being decided but we are happy for another chance to donate to our national philanthropy partner, the USO.
